Position Overview :
We are looking for a talented, dedicated and forward-thinking Facility Engineer to provide assistance in the improvement of processing and manufacturing facilities! The Facility Engineer will use their skill set to assess a facility's resource requirements, designing and optimizing the facility's layout and critical operational systems, and suggest maintenance improvements of infrastructure and equipment.
The Facility Engineer will use their analytical skill set and quantitative knowledge base to assess, communicate and improve upon operational processes.
Essential Job Functions :
- Provide direction to shift managers and supervisors to ensure quality products and adherence to productivity goals and cost standards, including those associated with quality, productivity, budget and cost control, and other key performance indicators.
- Conduct ongoing review of process efficiencies to identify and correct issues that negatively impact costs, delivery schedule, order fill rate or the ability to meet customer demands.
- Directs appropriate resolution to assure the timely completion of scheduled initiatives.
- Provides regular written reports, as well as other operations-related results and updates to the management team as needed.
- Works with project team members to implement new / retrofit processing infrastructure, including the preparation of Feasibility Studies, Technology Assessments, Constructability Reviews, and Performance Evaluations.
- Provides project management to ensure sound execution of short term and long-term initiatives, which includes analyzing project costs and preparing budgets, scheduling and critical path planning
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in an analytical role such as strategy consulting, or manufacturing, or MRF operations.
- Experience with AutoCAD, MS Office & Excel.
- Strong project management skills with track record of delivering projects on time with great outcomes.
- Ability to act with limited oversight on day-to-day basis. This role is intended for somebody with initiative and a deep sense of ownership that takes responsibility for shaping and executing upon our strategy and operations.

- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

- Exposure to outside elements (hot / cold / rain conditions) frequently.
