What you'll do :
The Sr. Credit Analyst is responsible for spreading, managing, and maintaining financial background information on present and prospective customers.
The position includes managing spread assignments, completing covenant testing, and maintaining related records and files.
The incumbent is also responsible for the preparation of a variety of credit department reports as assigned.
What we are looking for :
Reviews client financials and generate cash flow reports using the bank’s official software using Bank’s guidelines.
These reports will assist the loan officers to evaluate credit risk in connection with new loan, or renewal / modification requests.
Client’s financials include tax returns, company prepared or CPA prepared statements. Interface directly with Internal clients (loan officers and assistant relationship officers) to resolve any issues or inquiries regarding the spreads and covenant tests.
Facilitates reporting and requests on behalf of the Bank with third parties, e.g., field auditors, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in business, finance / accounting is required, Experience in related field is considered.
1-2 years’ experience as a credit analyst
Familiarity with financial statements and ability to analyze business and financial data.
Proficient in the use of personal computers and software programs, such as Excel and Word.
Familiar with financial analysis tools such as Moody’s Risk Analyst or Credit Lens and Paul Buker Tax Analysis a plus.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Be a self-starter with good interpersonal skills
Compensation : Hourly range for new hires is generally $36.77 - $47.11 for Los Angeles, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus / incentives earned.
