Description
Direct, plan, and coordinate the operations of assigned departments and programs. Achieve department and organizational goals and ensure optimal outcomes for designated patient populations within approved operating budget.
Responsible for the hiring, firing, counseling and evaluation of department staff. Initiate and maintain effective intra and inter-departmental communication to promote positive relations.
Additionally, independently provide psychological services (e.g., evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation) to patients within the organization and affiliated institutions.
Required Qualifications :
- Minimum of five years experience practicing in a medical setting required.
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA / CPA-accredited or equivalent doctoral program with an APA / CPA accredited OR equivalent doctoral internship required.
- Flexibility and dedication to team environment required.
- Ability to lead and develop teams required.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to anticipate and respond effectively to changes in direction and priorities required.
- Well-ordered approach to problem solving required.
- Licensed as a Psychologist or license-eligible in Nebraska required.
