Preschool Substitute Teachers

We are hiring substitute teachers for our Montessori school district in Orange County!

The position will support multiple mixed-age Montessori classrooms ranging from infant, toddler, kindergarten, and elementary.

No formal Montessori training is needed to apply. We will provide training as part of your orientation and on-boarding.

Compensation : $16-19 / hour

This is an on-call position where we will reach out to you as-needed to provide coverage when full-time teachers are out sick or on vacation.

Our campuses serve children from birth to 6 years old. You have the option to sub at all or some of our campuses in the Orange County area (Alicia, Foothill Ranch, and Las Flores).

The Substitute Teacher role is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at Guidepost Montessori. Many of our substitutes ultimately transition into full-time Assistant or Lead Teachers with us when new openings become available.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Warm and friendly demeanor
• Preferred if you have 6-12 ECE units
• Have recent teaching experience with children 0-6
