Dayton Children's is looking for a Pediatric Surgeon
- Practice Setting : Level 1 trauma center. No clinic.
- Schedule : 7am-7am
- Call Schedule : Friday to Sunday
- Call Ratio : 3 weekends a month
- Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day : 1-3
- Annual ER Volume : 80,000 sick and injured kids every year
- Documentation System / EMR : Epic
- Number of Operating Rooms : 9
- Number of General Surgeons in Practice : 4
- Description of OR Staff : Fully staffed with pediatric anesthesiologists
- Patient Age Demographic : 1-21 years old
- Procedures required : general surgical pediatric, neonatal and trauma cases, chest wall / pleural procedures, central line insertion, chest tube insertion
- Additional procedures : Atresias - Esophageal, Atresias - Intestinal, Atresias - Biliary, Abdominal Wall Defects - Gastroschisis, Umbilical Defects - Omphalocele, Umbilical Defects - Hernia, Imperforate Anus
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : 60-90 days
