What you need :
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience in inspections of fire suppression systems.
- Exhibit leadership skills with hiring, training, scheduling, disciplining, and terminating employees.
- Coordinate work of various departments and multiple projects to meet deadlines, customer service, and employee needs while complying with state and local building and safety codes.
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals regarding work procedures, schedules, complaints, and construction problems.
- Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
- Eagerness for professional development and growth.
- Ability to pass various background checks.
- Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle.
- Desirable (but not required!) : NICET Level I certification
What you will do :
- Develop and foster sales leads, manage and cultivate new and existing client relationships, and conclude sales transactions.
- Supervise the service team, overseeing scheduling, conducting site visits, and maintaining meticulous record- keeping practices, while nurturing a culture of exceptional performance.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, implement robust protocols, and remain current with technological advancements to optimize operational effectiveness.
- Undertake comprehensive cost estimation, proficiently generate persuasive proposals, and effectively coordinate post-sale documentation and internal collaboration.
- Provide direct supervision and mentorship to the service team, promoting collaborative efforts and skill enhancement.
- Maintain an unwavering customer-centric focus, promptly addressing inquiries, resolving challenges, and identifying upselling prospects.
- Methodically monitor and optimize service performance metrics, meticulously aligning with industry standards.
- Exercise proficient budget management for the service department, leveraging insightful financial analysis to optimize resource allocation.
- Contribute strategically by identifying business prospects, targeting expansion, and planning initiatives.
- Collaborate adeptly with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of critical parts and materials, skillfully negotiating contracts for cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain meticulous service records, preparing informative reports for senior management, and driving continuous improvement efforts.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills to fortify relationships with clients.
- Mastery in estimating, negotiation, and project management skills, adeptly navigating intricate business dynamics.
- Provide decisive leadership, impactful mentorship, and comprehensive training to elevate team performance and foster professional growth.
