North Trail RV is currently seeking a qualified RV Chassis and Diesel Technician to join our team. The qualified Chassis and Diesel Technician must be highly skilled in their field and must demonstrate integrity, attention to detail, and be accurate and efficient when performing work as outlined in repair orders.
The Chassis and Diesel Technician is responsible for duplicating, diagnosing, and repairing a full range of automotive issues found on DIESEL vehicles.
The Chassis and Diesel Technician commonly works on issues related to all electrical systems, engine, transmission, suspension, braking system, and emission system.
Responsibilities :
- Use shop equipment and diagnostic equipment with confidence and in accordance with all safety procedures
- Expertly diagnose issues based upon experience, analysis, and testing
- Possess an increasingly broad knowledge of how DIESEL vehicles’ components work and interact
- Perform routine service inspections, tests, and lubricate engines and other major components
- Know and adhere to safety and environmental standards for maintenance / repair facilities and maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Communicate with Service Advisors
- Accurately complete repair orders and inspect DIESEL vehicles for safety concerns
Requirements :
- Several years of diesel and gas engine experience preferred
- Preemployment screenings including background check and drug test
- Valid drivers license and excellent driving record required
- Understanding and compliance of federal and state regulations
- Certifications preferred but not required
- Willingness to report any safety issues or concerns to management
- Willingness to operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner required

North Trail RV is currently seeking a qualified RV Alignment Technician to join our team.
The Alignment Technician is responsible for ensuring that vehicles are properly aligned. This is a critical service that helps to ensure safe and efficient operation of vehicles on the road.
The Alignment Technician commonly works with heavy equipment such as trucks, RVs, and other specialized equipment to realign wheels or axles after they have been improperly aligned by driving or other factors.
The Alignment Technician must be highly skilled in their field. They must know how to use all relevant equipment and tools correctly and safely.
They also need to understand how each component of a vehicle’s suspension works so that they can properly align it.
Pay rate is based on experience and will be discussed during the interview.
Responsibilities :
- Inspecting tire wear and measuring tread depth to determine when tires need to be replaced
- Inspecting vehicles for alignment issues and repairing them as needed using specialized tools and equipment
- Performing wheel alignment using computerized alignment machines
- Inspecting vehicle suspension components to ensure they are working properly to support the weight of the vehicle.
- Determining the causes of alignment problems by inspecting tires, wheels, and suspension components for signs of damage or wear.
- Inspecting vehicle suspension systems to ensure they are working properly.
- Recommendation of repair options based on inspection findings.
- Measuring wheel alignment angles and adjusting them as required to ensure proper tracking.
- Installing new tires onto vehicles when needed based on alignment issues identified during inspection.
Requirements :
- 1 to 3 months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Pre-employment screenings including background and drug test
- Understands and complies with Federal and State regulations
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Willingness to report any safety issues or concerns to management
- Positive attitude
- Good Attendance and ability to work 8 hours shift Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
- Valid driver’s license required
