Position Description :

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities :
What you’ll do : (assignments may include responsibilities in one or more of the following areas) :
- Develop knowledge of a client’s industry, customers, organization and business objectives.
- Develop SOP a SOP and / or an SOP approach
- Perform BPR
- Assess financial processes for innovation and automation opportunities
- Analyze and solve financial and budget management related challenges for our clients to create or improve a system, process, data, controls and other.
- Provide quality client support by answering questions and fostering communication.
- Assess processes, documents, organization structure, and system activities to identify gaps and provide recommendations, innovation and solutions.
- Work closely with the client staff, production team, and development team to translate client issues and concerns into workable solutions.
- Provide in depth financial and budget analysis to guide the client.
- Provide research to identify causes for errors, manual processes, workflow and control issues.
- Support client in complying with federal regulations, policies and procedures to promote sound, consistent financial and budgetary practices.
- Assist with developing training materials and conducting training.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
Accounting / financial management experience : 5-8 years
Passion for working with customers in accounting-related disciplines
- Federal financial management / accounting
- Experience working with financial / accounting systems (federal is preferred)
- Some experience with federal budget analysis, formulation, and execution cycles
- Knowledge of Federal Financial Regulations and Treasury Financial Manual
- Functional / Data Analysis
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot table capability
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Word skills
- Action Oriented

- Strong Communication (Oral / Written)

Desired qualifications / non-essential skills required :
Experience with audits (federal is preferred)
SAP Business Analytics
CGFM, CDFM or CPA
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
