Job Description
Responsibilities :
- The Maintenance Manager will develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and optimal performance of all plant equipment and facilities.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and other departments to schedule maintenance activities, minimizing downtime and disruptions to operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs, develop action plans, and prioritize repairs and upgrades.
- Manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting expenses, tracking costs, and optimizing spending to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies related to safety, environmental protection, and equipment maintenance.
- Implement preventive maintenance strategies to proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate, reducing the risk of unplanned downtime and costly repairs.
- Relocation available. $180K-$220K.
Requirements
- The Maintenance Manager will have a BS or MS degree with an engineering major (mechanical preferred).
- 10+ experience in maintenance / reliability management, preferably in a chemical manufacturing or process industry setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, with expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex equipment issues.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software, computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and risk management principles.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
