Job Responsibilities :

• Lead the creation of a comprehensive end-to-end detailed solution with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery of the System Design Specification (SDS), focused on large-scale, complex or enterprise projects.
• Lead and be a key contributor to the creation of a comprehensive end-to-end solution, possessing implementation experience in the user interface layer.
• Responsible for leading the development and documentation of detailed solution design, acting as an application SME through the design and development lifecycle ensuring alignment with Architecture.
• Accountable for leading complex applications / systems development, programming / coding.
• Work in the creation of solution options and coordinate relevant stakeholders to support development initiatives.
• Provide estimates for new projects and initiatives for the development / design component of the plan.
• Lead the development of functional, technical, and user interface designs that meet defined requirements.
• Consult on development of the System Requirements Specification (SRS) and apply functional knowledge of business functions to design optimal software / systems.
• Review technical deliverables throughout design and development phases to ensure quality adherence and identify gaps or redesign requirements as needed.
• Lead and work with the Technology Project Manager, Business Analysts, and other team members to define metrics and performance goals for the application.
• Comply with enterprise technology delivery practices and standards, including development of project documentation of system requirements, estimates of scope and cost, etc.
• Lead the delivery of effective and efficient solutions by meeting key project milestones and ensuring project deliverables are on time and within budget.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to minimize cost and provide recommendations for strategic solutions.
• Provide technical support for escalated incidents / outages to ensure efficient resolution.
• Continuously enhance knowledge in own area and keep current with leading-edge technologies and trends.
• Prioritize and manage own workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines.
• Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork.
• Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
• Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners.
• Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units.
• Perform complex technical tasks independently.
• Possess advanced knowledge of the business, technical environment, processes, tools, and programming languages.
• Act as a subject matter expert and consult with clients / project teams on all aspects of research, analysis, and design.
• Provide technical guidance to others to help resolve issues within area of expertise.
• Lead the development of detailed project plans and understand impact / risk of integrating third-party solutions.
• Provide expert advice and act in lead capacity on operational development in Java with hands-on experience in design and implementation.

Skills and Experience Required :

Required Skills :

• Graduate degree or Technical Certificate in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Working experience in Enterprise / Financial Industry.
• 7+ years of managerial experience leading development teams.
• Strong experience coding and providing subject matter expertise in Angular.
• Experience with Angular 10+ / REACT, NGRX, JavaScript, CSS / HTML5, CSS3, REST / JSON / SOAP, APIs.
• Familiarity with key JavaScript frameworks including AngularJS, jQuery.
• Experience with Disciplined Agile / Agile Rollout Methodology.
• Ability to communicate clearly in both written and presentation form to all stakeholders.
• Ability to multi-task, meet tight timelines, and adapt processes to meet project needs.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and customer-oriented.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently or in groups.

Desired Skills :

• Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
• Past Java coding experience is a plus.
• NodeJS experience.
• Familiarity with mobile app test automation tools.
• Knowledge of bank and technology standards is an asset.
