As a Metrics and Reporting Manager - Vice President in the Agile Metrics and Solutions (AMS) Team, you will be responsible for the local oversight of Sanctions reporting team.
You will also partner with the Reporting, Governance, and Products teams to implement solutions adhering to Operational Risk Metrics Standards utilizing strategic tools and platforms.
Our team primarily works with reporting servicing GFCC Sanctions, Client List Screening (CLS), as well as engaging the Compliance, Conduct, and Operational Risk (CCOR) support functions inclusive of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Investigations, Know Your Customer (KYC), Employee Compliance, Regulatory Reporting, GFCC Quality Assurance, and Monitoring & Testing (M&T) to create data or reports out of complex business specifications.
Job responsibilities
- Accountable for performance and execution of deliverables of direct reports
- Assist department head on designing and delivering metrics governance and reporting solutions
- Engage technology teams to provide "voice of the client" on design of strategic platforms including case management, data processing and storage, metrics governance, and reporting
- Oversee daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc assignment requests
- Proactively monitor daily and weekly control reports to identify trends for potential process improvements
- Collaborate with partner teams across Reporting, Product, Tech, and Business to deliver analytical solutions
- Engage in various data analytics functions across the firm from multiple sources and formats
- Proactively communicate reporting modifications and process changes to contributors based on senior management requests and personal observations
- Communicate escalation items to executive management to improve transparency and enhance control monitoring
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Controls, Compliance, Data or Risk position, preferably in the financial services industry
- Experience in data analysis, metrics design / development and reporting
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills and the ability to present to any level of management
- Excellent PC Skills including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated individual that demonstrates initiative
- A high-level of attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Proven ability to be able to multi-task, as well as assess and change priorities.
- Able to deliver projects consistently, problem solve and think strategically under pressure
- Team player with ability to build strong cross-business relationships - proven flexibility, adaptability, and reliability
- Highly organized, extremely detailed and control orientated Excellent analytical skills
