Huntington University has an opening at our Arizona location for an OTD Program Coordinator.

  • The program coordinator performs administrative duties for the OTD Program Director, Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, Capstone Coordinator, faculty, students, and committees of the Department of Occupational Therapy (OTD);
  • serves as the event planner for all OTD activities; oversees weekly financial reconciliations for OTD and serves as the assistant budget manager to the Department Director;

supports OTD recruiter with outreach to undergraduate programs and high schools (e.g., table recruitment fairs, on-site field trips, etc.

assist coordination of on-site weekends; provides student, clerical, and faculty support; offers on-site support for graduate and professional program faculty and students as needed, provides technical support in the classrooms;

maintains organization of OTD supplies and classrooms.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong personal Christian commitment and faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Commitment to stewardship of University resource and strong desire to serve others.
  • Associate’s Degree
  • Two or more years of administrative support experience or customer service.
  • Passion for the field of Occupational Therapy.
  • Excellent communication skills (active listening, written and oral).
  • Strong networking skills for outreach to undergraduate programs.
  • Knowledge of Zoom, Teams, and Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work in a multi-task environment with potential interruptions to workflow.
  • A high level of organizational ability.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in typing, telephone, filing and other clerical skills.
  • Commitment to confidentiality.

Work Schedule : This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt hourly position.
