Job Summary :

This position will monitor the current emergency preparedness grant activities and outputs and budgets / redirections submitted by the

State's coalition and contracted HPP subrecipients. In addition, you will ensure that the subrecipients are meeting the grant deliverable

requirements in order to maintain compliance. This position will also provide technical assistance as needed to ensure the contracted

subrecipients can carry out the terms of grants, and work with regional committees to verify coordination between AzCHER,

healthcare facilities, and other partners (e.g. state, local, and tribal). This position is also responsible for managing applicable

supplemental grants for the HPP program (e.g. COVID supplemental). This position will provide oversight of contracted subrecipient

mid and end-of-year reporting and quarterly expense updates. The contracted sub-recipients include AzHHA, AzCHER, AZSILC,

AHCA, ADE, Coyote Crisis Collaborative, Poison Control, and Valleywise Health. Subrecipient activities will be monitored through

reporting, one-on-one meetings, and attendance of program meetings / conferences. This position is responsible for developing and

updating contract amendments' scope of work for HPP subrecipients. This position will also assist with writing and compiling the

narrative on the HPP work plan to meet the grant-required submissions to ASPR. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Duties :

This position will monitor the current emergency preparedness grant activities and outputs and budgets / redirections submitted by the State's coalition and contracted HPP subrecipients.

Provide technical assistance as needed to assure the contracted subrecipients can carry out the terms of grants. Verify that all regional subrecipients are addressing regional surge capacity, and work with regional committees to verify coordination between AzCHER, healthcare facilities, and other partners (e.

g. state, local, and tribal).

Provide oversight of contracted subrecipient mid and end-of-year reporting and quarterly expense updates. The contracted sub-recipients include AzHHA, AzCHER, AZSILC, AHCA, ADE, Coyote Crisis Collaborative, Poison Control, and Valleywise Health.

Subrecipient activities will be monitored through reporting, one-on-one meetings, on-site visits, and attendance of program meetings / conferences.

Selective Preference(s) :

Associate degree with 3 years work experience in public health emergency preparedness or related field or 5 years of work-related

experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Pre-Employment Requirements :

Must have driver’s license.
