Responsible for the operational activities of a variety of functional departments, inventory, inbound, and outbound. Reviews and analyzes reports, records and directives, and confers with managers / supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered.
May be responsible for one or more of the following activities related to the receiving, storing, and / or shipping of materials or finished goods.
May be responsible for ensuring materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory and finished goods, are available to meet production schedules, packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner.
Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control. May evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices.
Gives work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work. Monitors and analyzes costs and prepares budgets.
Shift : need to be flexible with working hours.
- Weekend shift with 2 additional weekday shifts
- Schedule will be 4, 10 hr shifts
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of a team or like teams of employees in the professional, business support and / or operations support career streams
- Manages activities of a team that range from routine to moderately complex; coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
- Typically, does not spend more than 20% of time performing the same work as those supervised. Would usually have 1 or more of the following responsibilities : hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and / or pay reviews.
- Supervises team members who perform either a single task, or multiple but closely related tasks. Interacts with other supervisors and / or other functional areas to complete assigned tasks.
Minimum Requirements :
- 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- LMS knowledge preferred
- JDE knowledge preferred
