Starting Compensation
Current High School : $12.50
College+ : $15 Required Qualifications : Exceptional math skills through Algebra I and GeometryExcellent communication and multi-tasking skillsAbility to professionally interact with students and parentsEnergetic, confident, and fun personalityAbility to solve basic technology challengesReliable and Responsible Preferred Qualifications : Ability to teach students and upper-level high school math courses, including Algebra II and Pre-CalculusPrevious teaching experience or other experience working with studentsBehavior management education, skills, or experience Customer service and sales skills Ability to provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, and build confidence among students Position Summary : The Mathnasium Instructor is responsible for delivering mathematical instruction to students using the Mathnasium Method.
Instructors are committed to providing exceptional customer service through an expert approach that is personal and prescriptive, attending to each individual student’s needs.
Instructors build students’ confidence and self-esteem through successful encounters and interactions with carefully selected materials.
Instructors work as part of a team and operate in a team teaching environment where collaboration and communication ensure all student needs are addressed.
Instructors are the backbone of Mathnasium’s customer service by delivering exceptional math instruction for students. Compensation : $12.50 - $16.00 per hour
