Every day is a fresh experience as you interact with our guests and keep everything looking great. From sweeping the streets to refreshing the restrooms and greeting the guests, you’ll be right in the center of the action and help keep everything in immaculate shape and sanitary.

What You Will Be Doing :

• The disinfecting of all areas that guests and team members come in contact with on a daily basis including the following : Trash can lids, Park Benches, Patio table seats, Lockers, Hand rails, Ride Que line hand rails, Restrooms, Door handles
• Supporting the Six Flags Mantra Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe Service
• Identifying and reacting to detailed areas both behind the scenes and in Guests’ view in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Sweeping park streets, walkways, and attraction areas with broom and collect rubbish with a dustpan continuously while walking in an assigned section
• Hosing down back areas and patios when necessary
• Speaking with Guests greeting, giving directions if needed and answering any question they may have
• Removing and replacing new partially filled liners inside trash receptacles
• Transporting trash from the trashcans to the park compactor areas and separate as necessary to adhere with park recycling rules

How You Will Do It :

• Friendly, outgoing personality interacting with large groups of people
• Ability to work in an environment as fast-paced as our coasters
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to cleanliness
• Must read chemical labels and MSDS of cleaning substances
• Enjoy cleaning and organizing
• Strong attention to detail
• Maintain proper attendance and timeliness
• Assist other departments as requested

What You Will Need :

• Must be 16 years and older.
• Must be able to read chemical labels and Safety Data Sheets of cleaning substances.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.Must be able to carry a Back pack

• Must be able to wear PPE
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and to execute quickly.
• Must be able to work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

MENTAL OR VISUAL DEMAND

Requires normal visual and mental demand.

PHYSICAL DEMAND

• Requires some lifting, standing, walking, bending, eye / hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech
• Requires frequent kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition
• Requires using telephone, radios, and computer equipment
• Strong physical mobility the ability to move easily in different work stations, hand and arm movement and utilizes safe lifting and carrying techniques
• Must be able to stand / walk for up to 6 hours at a times and as many as 14 hours a day
• Must be able to walk up to 3 miles per day over various surfaces
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently with a maximum of 80 lbs
• Must be able to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance
• Must be able to lift and lower up to 40 lbs above shoulder level
• Must be able to lift and carry up to an 80 lb load over 25 feet
• Must be able to push / pull 150 lbs over 50 feet over various surfaces
• Must be able to climb a stepladder up to 6 ft. in height
• Must be able to climb over a counter up to 30 inches in height and 30 inches wide

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Continuously works outside and closely with others
• Primarily works alone, is exposed to dust / dirt, water, chemicals, sewage, and bodily fluids that may or may not contain a blood borne pathogen
• Proper PPE is required while cleaning at all times
• Must be able to function in all weather conditions for long periods of time
