This position is contingent upon favorable funding.

Job Responsibilities

Translational research laboratory setup / organization; coordination of studies; assist during large animal electrophysiology experiments;

specimen collection; tissue processing / histology; data analysis.

Assist with writing standard laboratory / research operations documentation; perform inventory analysis, supply purchasing, and other tasks as needed.

Maintain logs, data base systems, laboratory reports and regulatory documents for IACUC, ERHS, etc.

  • Analyze data, prepare data reports / powerpoint slides and participate in laboratory meetings
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and minimum of 1-2 years of directly related research experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

2-3 years preferred. Strong organizational skills, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently are required.

Previous experience with data collection, computer programming, and statistical analysis is preferred, but not necessary.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
