Production Supervisor, Day Shift
Position Summary :
Supports and supervises the completion of daily production goals through ensuring that all relevant policies and procedures are being followed and department resources are properly organized and utilized.
Responsibilities :
- Always serves as a positive role model consistent with Polo’s corporate culture.
- Abides by correctional facility rules, policies and procedures.
- Monitors daily work schedule to meet established customer delivery.
- Conducts and participates in meetings with workforce and management team.
- Prepares, reviews, and completes daily and weekly production and job sheets.
- Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, housekeeping of the area and meeting production quality and quantity.
- Prepares and conducts 45 / 90-day, and annual performance evaluations for direct reports.
- Ensures that company policies, rules, regulations, and procedures are followed.
- Provides positive attitude for team environment.
- Monitors production for all parts in process.
- Pulls work from in-house store to department and organizes work for smooth operation.
- Aids in set-up when needed.
- Processes and returns completed jobs to warehouse.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One to two years production / supervision experience preferred.
- Some computer skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Organized, responsible, punctual, and self-disciplined.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.
- Always maintains a professional appearance and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively via phone, electronic or in person.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and perform accurately.
- Ability to move from one task to another.
- Ability to counsel / resolve disputes between hourly associates.
- Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
