As our Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist at St Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.
Every day you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to : IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet.
You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.

It is locate on the 2nd floor of the Heart Lung Tower, The Cardiac Cath Lab consists of 4 rooms plus a Hybrid room dedicated to a patient population providing diagnostic and interventional services as well as pacemakers, AICD's and Electrophysiology procedures TAVR. Mitral Clip and LAAO.

- Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the imaging order
- Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

Qualifications
Education and Experience :
- Graduate from an approved CVT Program required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Five (5) years of current experience as a CRT with hands-on scrub experience within a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
- Experience as cardiovascular monitoring technologist to include but not limited to A-Line and IV insertion and all modalities within the Cath Lab
Licensure :
- Current Radiology License (ARRT) required
- Current Arizona State License (MRTBE)
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent certification required
- Current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications
