A Civil 3D Drafter is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
These projects can include roads, bridges, water systems, and land development. Must have civil 3D software experience.
Key Responsibilities : Drafting and Design : Create construction drawings, layout plans, and topographic maps.
Collaboration : Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop accurate and detailed drawings. Technical Specifications : Interpret and analyze design specifications, sketches, and rough drafts provided by engineers or clients.
Compliance : Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations. Site Visits : Conduct site visits to gather data and verify project requirements.
Utility Information : Add utility information to engineering drawings. Research : Conduct research for legal descriptions and other project-related information.
Skills and Qualifications : Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D : Strong skills in using AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail in drafting.
Technical Knowledge : Understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methods. Communication Skills : Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
Problem-Solving : Ability to identify and solve design-related issues.
Time Management : Efficient in managing time and meeting project deadlines.
Education and Experience : Education : An associate degree or certification in drafting, civil engineering technology, or a related field.
