Job Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development and execution of cutting-edge strategies for our data center and critical server & storage infrastructure.
- Lead a dynamic team responsible for managing infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless project delivery from planning to execution.
- Oversee the daily operations of our corporate and plant data centers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Design and implement futuristic data center architecture that aligns with our evolving business needs.
- Champion business continuity and disaster planning efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to devise robust solutions.
- Manage and support infrastructure software solutions, collaborating closely with DBAs and applications specialists.
- Drive the adoption of technical efficiencies and automation in infrastructure processes, enhancing operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal and external mobile providers to optimize hardware support and functionality.
- Design and implement innovative solutions using infrastructure technologies to propel our corporate goals.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10 years of progressive IT industry experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership role focusing on infrastructure planning and implementation.
- Strong technical expertise in storage systems, networking, server hardware, virtualization, and Microsoft technologies.
- Proven track record in business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple infrastructure projects concurrently and deliver exceptional results.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master's degree in Business or a relevant technical discipline.
- Industry certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, or VMWare.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Rockwell Converged Plant wide Ethernet (CPwE) design or implementation.
- Project Management Certification (PMI).
