JOB SUMMARY

The Demand Specialist is responsible for maintaining internal forecast schedules based on customer schedules and Adient Master Production Schedule.

They will collaborate with Program Management, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, and Accounting to complete the process lifecycle of customer deliverables and shipments.

They will be under the direction of the S&OP Manager.

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

  • Manage all activities required to commit, book, and release all customer orders.
  • Manage overall Production and Spares purchase orders and sales orders in ERP system.
  • Ensure responsibility for all activities required to commit, book, and release all customer orders.
  • Coordinate monthly demand and sales forecasting process in close collaboration with the sales teams.
  • Follow up and close out spare and intercompany orders and backorder; solve out of stock issues.
  • Conduct forecast maintenance with feedback from S&OP Manager.
  • Collaborate with S&OP Manager and Senior Planning Manager on ERP demand alignment and take action accordingly.
  • Communicate demand gaps and significant forecast changes to Planning.
  • Manage and publish visual metrics, presentations, and reports for internal reporting, including project review presentations.
  • Report, resolve, and escalate as needed.
  • Set goals in consistency with company objectives and adapt plans to changing environments.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Company’s information and products.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Knowledge, and Experience

Education :

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.

Experience :

  • 3+ years of direct experience.
  • Experience with AS9100, AS9102 and Boeing & Airbus commercial aircraft contract requirements.

Skills :

  • Experience with an MRP system, or ability to learn MRP system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.

Other :

  • May be asked to work extended or irregular hours as required.
  • Must show proof of ability to work in the United States.

COMPENSATION / BENEFITS

Adient Aerospace offers competitive wages and benefits to recognize employees for their work. The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.

Salary Range Transparency : $86,080 - $118,360 annually.
