They are looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join their executive team and drive our technological strategy and development.
As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company. You will work closely with the CEO and other executive team members to establish the company’s technical vision, lead all aspects of technology development, and ensure the successful execution of our product roadmap.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background in robotics, a passion for innovation, and proven leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute the company’s technical strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the engineering and technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of advanced robotic systems and solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Collaborate with the product management team to define product requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
- Drive the development and implementation of scalable and reliable software and hardware architectures.
- Ensure that all technological resources are aligned with the company’s short-term and long-term needs.
- Manage and optimize the company’s technology budget and resources.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and in discussions with potential investors and partners.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role, preferably as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar, within the robotics or technology sector.
- Strong background in robotics, AI, machine learning, and related technologies.
- Demonstrated success in leading and scaling engineering teams in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of software and hardware development processes, including Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the start-up ecosystem.
