Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking an eager computer science major to join the USANA quality team as a part-time quality engineer. In this position, you will learn the process of quality assessment and feedback throughout the entire lifecycle starting from requirements gathering to production deployment.

You will learn to identify the criteria for the promotion of each feature set or user story and participate in the planning and execution of validation activities to support the highest quality outcomes for both our internal and external customers.

What You Will Do as USANA’s Quality Engineer

• Tests feature as defined in the associated user story
• Actively learning the team’s current tools and processes
• Learning to write well-organized and clear test cases
• Provides full transparency to their team members about their work
• Communicate with other members of the Agile team
• Capable of completing a well-defined task promptly
• Identifies blocking issues and takes ownership of finding solutions
• Increase proficiency in different types of testing techniques and methods
• Able to understand user acceptance criteria and ensure that it is consistently met
• Active and positive participant in the Agile team

Background and Skills You Will Need

• Ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks
• Previous role in a teamwork environment
• Strong technical writing and communication skills

What Will Make You Standout

• Some knowledge of software testing experience
• Working knowledge and understanding of SCRUM and Agile methodologies
