PrideStaff Financial has an immediate onsite opportunity to join our growing company. We are currently seeking a full time Medical Billing Specialist for a well known client in the Central Valley.
Job Responsibilities :
- Verify medical eligibility; benefit coverage and authorization requirements online or phone.
- Obtain authorization if required by plan via fax, email, or online.
- Process files within predesignated deadlines.
- Contact patients to obtain information to process insurance claims or bill patients accordingly.
- Contact Work Comp carriers to obtain information for authorizations and process accordingly.
- Preform other duties as needed.
Job Requirements :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Typing minimum of 45 words per minute
- 1-2 Years of Medical Billing Experience Preferred
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $16.00 - $23.00 Per Hour
