We are hiring an Agency Management Analyst Lead for one of our clients in Trenton, NJ .

Job Description :

  • Research and analyze law enforcement data, maintain analytic databases, interpret statistics, assist with policy recommendations, design research programs, prepare reports, develop data collection protocols, conduct statistical work, produce data dashboards, and develop strategies to address issues.
  • Under the direction of the Office of Law Enforcement Professional Standards (OLEPS) Director, Deputy Director, and Supervising Administrative Analyst, or other supervisory official within the Department of Law and Public Safety :
  • Researches, compiles, analyzes data relating to law enforcement law enforcement practices and activities, and provide detailed, accurate information regarding trends and patterns of those practices as well as the ability to review and analyze data relating to State Police motor vehicle stops, internal affairs, training, supervisory duties, early warning systems, and other law enforcement-related functions
  • Creates and maintains analytic databases for OLEPS' analysis and reports
  • Analyzes and interprets statistical information in furtherance of OLEPS' mission
  • Assists in recommendations concerning policy revisions, training, and database development
  • Designs and implements specialized research and / or analytical programs
  • Has the ability to investigate, review, modify, develop, and test new analytical procedures and methodologies
  • Prepares or participates in the production of sound, accurate publications, memoranda, and reports relating to research, grants, and other activities containing findings, conclusions, and / or recommendations
  • Designs and implements data collection protocols to acquire new and existing data; Assists with the subsequent analysis and reporting of findings
  • Conducts statistical work
  • Implements research projects
  • May produce data dashboards, evaluate reports and visual aids, and identify trends and patterns
  • Independently, or as a part of a team, develops strategies and solutions for addressing issues and concerns
  • Performs other functions as needed.

Job Duties :

Skills required :

  • Ability to design and implements specialized research and / or analytical programs

Experience required :

Six (6) years of professional experience in collecting, analyzing, reporting, and disseminating large volumes of data using statistical techniques to identify trends or patterns in complex data for research projects.

Education required :

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, including or supplemented by 18 credits in social sciences, criminal justice, statistics, or a closely related field.
  • Applicants must meet one of the following or a combination of both experience and education.
  • 30 semester hour credits are equal to 1 yr. experience

Work hours :

  • 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm
  • Lunch period (Unpaid) : 1 hour, anytime between 11 am and 2 pm
