Job Title : HR Compliance and Audit Specialist (US Citizen Only)
Location : Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and monitor HR compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits of HR processes, practices, and documentation to identify compliance gaps and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present audit findings, recommendations, and action plans to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Stay current with changes in employment laws and regulations, and update policies and procedures accordingly.
- Collaborate with HR teams to provide guidance on compliance-related issues and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and deliver training programs for HR staff and management on compliance-related topics and best practices.
- Respond to inquiries and investigations related to compliance issues from regulatory agencies or internal stakeholders.
- Support the HR department in implementing corrective actions and tracking progress on compliance initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR compliance, audit, or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including specific laws relevant to your location .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address compliance issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using HRIS systems and compliance management software.
- Certification in HR compliance or audit (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
