• If you work full-time, you can earn up to 15 days of paid time off (PTO) after 90 days of employment.
• If you work part-time, you are eligible for sick leave.

Specifics to This Position

• Working with clients ages 5-22 with autism and special needs in their homes or on a school case.
• Education requirements : A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Transportation requirements : Reliable transportationValid Driver’s License and personal vehicle preferred
• Schedule requirements : Full-time hours between 8 . to 6pm preferred
• Earn starting pay at $20 / hr and up with experience.
• Become eligible to earn (RBT) certification

What You Have

• Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 (on or before the first day of employment).
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule : mornings, afternoons, and / or evenings.
• The ability to pass a background check.
• Not to mention, it’s a plus if you : Are bi-lingual, with English / Spanish fluency.Studied, majored, or minored in psychology, education, special education, childcare, behavioral health, health science, or a related field.

Have experience working with children in a school setting, implementing behavior analytic interventions.Are familiar with and / or certified in NCVI or related non-crisis intervention training.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Gaining training and skills to support a career in behavior analysis, behavioral health, teaching, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, counseling, mental health, and parenting.
• Creating lasting, positive change for children and their families.
• Implementing strategies outlined in students' behavior support plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Partnering with school district personnel to support students in accessing the curriculum through the implementation of behavior analytic procedures.
• Utilizing crisis management procedures to de-escalate students' engagement in challenging behaviors.

Physical requirements vary and are based on specific client assignments. You may be asked to engage in any of the following : push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds and move quickly, according to client needs.

It is necessary to be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.
