Basic Function :

Management of farm accounts for clients. Other responsibilities include assisting in activities including brokerage, appraisal, and department marketing efforts.

Essential Job Duties :

• Administer farm management services for agency and trust accounts.
• Assist buyers and / or sellers in farmland real estate brokerage transactions.
• Provide assistance with rural real estate appraisals.
• Report to First Illinois Ag Group division manager.
• Participate in agricultural and civic organizations supported by First Illinois Ag Group and Hickory Point Bank & Trust.

Conduct all duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Bank policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Personal management
• Decision making
• Negotiating
• Budgeting
• Accounting, Ag Law, Agronomy, Soil Conservation and Insurance
• General understanding of Midwest Agriculture

Training and Experience :

• B.S. Degree in Agriculture, Business, Finance or a related field
• Valid driver's license
• Illinois Real Estate Broker License (currently have or obtain)
• On path for completion of Accredited Farm Manager (AFM) designation

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible for a robust benefit package.

The successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background and credit check is required.
