Job Summary :
We are seeking a Medication Technician part-time for multiple shifts to join our healthcare team. The Medication Tech will be responsible for administering medication to residents in accordance with state regulations and company policies.
This role requires attention to detail, compassion, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Medication Technician (Med Tech) or related field
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Responsibilities :
- Administer medication to residents according to prescribed dosages and schedules
- Document medication administration and resident responses accurately in medical records
- Maintain a safe and clean medication administration environment
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Adhere to all state regulations and company policies regarding medication administration
