Job Description
The PM shall serve within the HHS Division with a focus on Strategic Initiatives. The contractor will play a key role across the HHS Division including Strategy, Project Management, and Integration Management.
The PM will achieve this by actively owning management of small to mid-sized projects, which may include conducting analyses to solve business problems, and developing strategic business cases, workplans, and / or recommending new operational plans for Business.
Additionally, the PM will support the success of the HHS Division by mentoring other team members and developing strong relationships with partners across the District.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with the client's Program Management Administration policies, practices, and procedures.
The PM leads planning and management of small to mid-sized organizational initiatives and activities, including conducting analyses, building business cases, developing project and operational management plans, and driving execution.
Supports development of HHS teams to foster collaboration, and effectively conveys and expresses ideas in writing and verbally to individuals and groups, including senior leaders.
Develops timelines and detailed workplans to create structure for initiative teams to plan and coordinate activities and resources.
Develops recommendations based on data from multiple stakeholders, and leverages data to support and inform timely, effective decisions.
Develop, produce, and deliver executive presentations, program updates, and set and articulate goals and timelines to executive leadership.
Responsibilities :
- Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter- related project tasks.
- Manages teams of contract Support Personnel at multiple locations.
- Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
- Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
Minimum Education / Certification Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field or equivalent experience
