As a Clinical Case Manager, you will work within our Involuntary Outpatient Commitment program located in Cherry Hill, Camden County.
The IOC program has prescribed, community-based, mental health services under court order to individuals in Camden County with a serious mental illness and frequent users of inpatient services and / or Crisis Screening Services.
Schedule : Full-time; Monday-Saturday 9 : 00am-5 : 30pm; Half hour unpaid lunch
Competencies :
The applicant must have the ability to provide case management including but not limited to : linkages, assessments, follow-up and familiarity with Court system.
Participate as part of a treatment team; Knowledge of serious mental illnesses and substance abuse. Each individual in the IOC program will be offered the opportunity, and encouraged, to complete a Wellness and Recovery Action Plan WRAP , a tool designed to help people develop skills, knowledge and attitudes needed in order to assume a more active role in maintaining mental health recovery;
Knowledge and experience working with mentally ill in foreseeable psychiatric distress; Knowledge of the mental health field in NJ and commitment to the principles of recovery.
Responsibilities :
- Provides quality clinical care through evidence-based practices with adults
- Conduct psycho-social assessments.
- Conduct assessments
- Develop short term treatment plans and coordinate discharge plans.
- Client’s Compliance with Treatment as indicated by follow-ups with clients at home and with community providers.
- Reporting non-compliance to the Court. Professional demeanor, clear documentation, ability to operate under stress

Qualifications :
- Masters Degree in social work or psychology plus
- Two (2) years experience in behavioral healthcare;
- LSW / LAC Preferred;
- Valid Driver's License in good standing required.
