Delta Hotels Minneapolis Northeast is seeking an experienced, full-time Restaurant Hostess for the Twin Cities 400 Tavern.
The Twin Cities 400 Tavern is a unique restaurant concept that features the best Burgers, Pizza, and Full-Service Bar with 20 Specialty Beers on Tap.
Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Review floor plan and reservation book daily to create seating charts
- Seat guests and maintain control of wait times
- Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
- Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, respond to complaints, and thank guests as they are leaving
- Answer restaurant telephone line with proper etiquette during assigned hours of operation
- Process Carryout and Delivery Orders
- Take Payments from Guests, including cash, credit card, and house charges
- Balance Register at end of shift, Handle cash in accordance with established cash handling policies.
Qualifications :
- Prior experience in a guest service environment preferred
- Availability for AM or PM Shifts, available all days of the week
- Ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
- High school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to remain on feet for entire length of shift
- Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
