Department Director of Community Based Child and Family Wellbeing

Position Summary : Responsible for the overall clinical leadership and program management of FSRI’s Community Based Child and Family Wellbeing Programs including Family Care Community Partnership, Family Coaching and Visitation, SafeCare, Enhanced Case Management, and TST-CHT programs in conjunction with the Vice President.
Provides supervision, support, and guidance to program directors, clinical directors, clinical supervisors, and others involved in the leadership of these programs.
Builds and maintains positive relationships with DCYF. Ensures that programs meet budgetary targets, while achieving clinical outcomes for youth.
Support in the development of new program to meet emerging needs of RI families. Oversees the overall implementation of evidence based models including Trauma Systems Therapy (TST).
Provides leadership and guidance to programs to achieve permanency outcomes for children.
Qualifications :
- Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage / family, etc.) required.
- LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, Psy.D. or RNC required.
- Prior clinical supervisory experience required.
- Prior experience with program development, budget management, and program direction preferred.
- Experience providing trauma-informed, evidence-based practices to children and families strongly preferred.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance also required.
- Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
