What You'll Do :
We are looking for an experienced leader in anti-financial crime technology to spearhead our transaction monitoring systems and develop cutting-edge compliance tools.
This role will be responsible for the enhancement and fine-tuning of monitoring frameworks, ensuring they meet the latest regulatory standards.
The successful candidate will also guide the adoption of advanced technological solutions for identifying suspicious activity, helping the organization stay on top of emerging trends in compliance technology.
Core Responsibilities :
Lead the creation, deployment, and ongoing refinement of transaction surveillance frameworks.
Ensure monitoring setups are regularly reviewed and adjusted to avoid gaps.
Supervise the introduction of cutting-edge compliance technology to strengthen financial crime detection capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in IT, compliance, and risk to align technology initiatives with institutional needs.
Manage a team of specialists (e.g., developers, data scientists) working on improving detection systems and ensuring accuracy.
Keep abreast of industry developments and regulatory updates to guarantee that the institution meets technology-driven financial crime compliance standards.
Partner with teams to validate data analytics, reporting, and the efficacy of monitoring systems.
What You'll Need :
A bachelor's degree in a technology-focused field such as computer science or information systems (a master's degree is advantageous).
10+ years of experience in AML technology, including hands-on experience in transaction surveillance and scenario optimization.
Proficiency in financial crime technology solutions and related compliance frameworks.
Prior experience leading technical teams, particularly in compliance or financial crime settings.
Strong skills in data analysis and modeling, with a track record of using these methods in compliance solutions.
Solid communication and team leadership abilities.
Technology Proficiencies :
Familiarity with common office software tools and a capacity to quickly learn the organization's proprietary systems.
