We are excited to invite applications to join our Digital Commerce applications group as QA Engineer, supporting DTC, B2B & B2B2C business models!
As eCommerce continues to accelerate, we have a number of exciting projects in the works and are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team to help us deliver eCommerce capability faster, without compromising quality.
Our ideal candidate is detail oriented, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and is able to manage multiple workstreams at once.
You will work with product and engineering teams to plan and develop testing plans while using and developing new tools & processes to effectively test and improve the testing process.
You are highly self-motivated and can work well both independently and within a team of both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Specifically, these positions will have responsibility to
- Test case specification, automation and data generation
- Design and implement functional, performance, scalability, stability, and stress tests
- Use and develop new manual and automated tools to effectively test products and improve testing processes
- Plan and developing testing plans
- Maintain and evaluate automated tests and report issues discovered
- Prepare reports on all aspects related to software testing
- Analyze results, identify functional and performance issues and write clear and detailed bug reports
- Evaluate, drive, develop, and adopt tools and processes to improve speed, simplicity, and quality in systems
- Optimize and maintain our automated regression suite utilizing existing test automation tools
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or similar degree
- 5 or more years of Quality Assurance work experience.
- Experience writing automated test scripts in JavaScript, Java, APpium, Selenium, Cypress or UI Automator
- Experience supporting existing or building new automation tools for backend services and frontend web applications
- Experience testing REST API calls
- A passion for quality and achieving it through both test automation and manual QA processes
- Demonstrated ability to learn and develop technical skills
- Performance Testing : OpenText Loadrunner
- Automation Testing : Testim or Selenium
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Digital Commerce platforms such as Commerce Cloud, Magento, Salesforce, Shopify, Big Commerce, SAP Hybris etc.
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence, and / or Trello)
- Strong understanding of software / testing methodologies such as TDD, data-driven testing
- Experience in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.
- Understanding of testing and test automation for consumer-facing applications or devices
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $88,800.00 - $151,200.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office / market location.
In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and / or Stock Options.
