Responsibilities
- Develop near and long-term strategic plans for the ESS business in conjunction with business leadership which drives growth rates materially greater than market growth
- Define growth and competitive advantage opportunities by identifying technology trends, portfolio integration and expansion opportunities and business model evolution
- Partner with senior leadership to identify and execute on growth and margin expansion opportunities, constructively challenging where to play and how to win choices
- Develop frameworks to support identification, incubation, and assessment of critical growth initiatives to align with business goals
- Identify and evaluate inorganic growth strategies including acquisitions, alliance, licensing, and partnership opportunities linked to the strategic plan
- Continue to evolve strategy, business, and go-to-market capabilities by being a player-coach on critical projects
- Conduct market analysis and identify growth opportunities
- Track competitor performance and market intelligence to drive in insights and identify potential changes to strategic actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategic initiatives and business objectives
- Drive the execution of the STRAP process, including setting targets, identifying key initiatives, and monitoring progress
- Manage a team of 1 person, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum 5 years in a corporate / business strategy leadership role
