Salary : THE ROLE
THE ROLE
As the Lead Teacher for Middle School Enrichment, you will design and implement innovative programs that integrate technology, dance or music, fostering creativity and personal growth among students.
This role is essential in cultivating a vibrant learning environment that encourages exploration and collaboration.
THE PERSON
As a Lead Teacher of Enrichment, you will :
- Develop engaging curricula that align with students’ interests in the arts and / or technology.
- Create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes student creativity and teamwork.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate enrichment programs across subjects.
- Communicate effectively with scholars, families, and staff to promote program involvement.
- Lead daily instruction after school with middle scholars with a requirement of 30 minutes of silent independent reading / homework completion.
THE MUST HAVES
Prior Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts Education, Music, Dance, Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification in relevant areas.
- Proven experience leading enrichment programs or teaching creative subjects to middle school students, demonstrating student engagement and growth.
- Strong knowledge of diverse artistic techniques, technological tools, and their applications in education.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Work Demands
Schedule : 10 : 30 am - 6 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday.
