Community Coach I
Community Coach 1 Fulltime (I / DD Skills Needed)
Qualifications and Licensing Requirements :
- One-year experience working with I / DD & Special populations
- A high school diploma or GED required
- Willing to provide customer transportation using your vehicle
- Valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record
- ASL : American Sign Language Certification required.
Hours : Monday-Friday 9 : 30am-5 : 30pm; Varies based on customer's needs.
Rate : $17.00 per hour
Job type : Full-Time 35- 40 hrs / week
Location : 28217; surrounding areas
What You'll Do :
- Work one-on-one or one-on-three providing support for activities in the Charlotte area
- Help customers explore new things, pursue their interests, & help with socialization
- Responsible to oversee customer participation in activities as described in the goal plan
- Maintain health and safety of everyone
- Provide reliable transportation
- Maintains credentials (training)
- Assure confidentiality

The Community Coach provides the support necessary to assist an adult with Intellectual / Developmental Disabilities in a variety of community activities.
Activities may be in the individual's home, community, or work site in the Charlotte area.
All InReach applicants are required to have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
