MRI Technologies is a woman-owned Technical Services company located in Houston, TX. Our relationship with Collins Aerospace has led to the need for a Bond Room Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Houston, TX, supporting NASA Johnson Space Center.

Job Summary / Description : The Bond Room Shipping & Receiving Clerk shall provide shipping, receiving, and storage in support of the IS&R Houston Programs.

This task will include shipping, receiving, inventory control, audit support, and minimal transportation for pick up / delivery of some materials.

Job Responsibilities :

• Receive, maintain, disburse, inspect, prepare, and disposition material and tooling to support production schedules and to comply with customer-owned property requirements.
• Perform work from verbal and written instructions, blueprints, procedures, and methods.
• Participate in developing and documenting operational methods for inventory and material handling.
• Inspect and verify hardware for proper configuration on receipt and stamp parts list prior to disbursement.
• Issue, control and maintain traceability for all end-assemblies, sub-assemblies, and details to meet contract and customer requirements.
• Handle, segregate, label, maintain and disburse limited-life and fracture critical material to meet customer specifications.
• Perform storage, maintenance, and recall of metrology controlled equipment.
• Use various computer databases and systems (e.g., SAP, MS Office, etc.) to maintain inventory and material handling tasks.
• Investigate and resolve physical inventory and paperwork discrepancies.
• Transport, dispense and store hazardous materials.
• Improve processes and solve problems in cooperation with fellow employees and supervision. Develop solutions and follow through with implementation.
• Participate in audits.
• Keep equipment and surroundings neat, clean, and organized.
• Perform related duties as required within the scope of this job function
• Manage the customer property storerooms, including tracking of materials and property received and issued between the storeroom and the Operations Work Centers
• Perform routine physical inventories of property located on site and at remote locations.
• Responsible for generating and providing accurate and timely property status reports and metrics for internal and external customers.
• Schedule and provide data to Procurement for performing subcontractor audits.
• Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements.

Job Qualifications :

• High School Degree or equivalent required
• 2+ Years' Experience Preferred
• Previous NASA experience is preferred
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS is preferred
• Knowledge with SAP is preferred (or comparable ERP system), MS SharePoint
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must have and maintain valid driver's license
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access is preferred, Teams is a plus)
• Physical inventory and material handling experience is preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels including internal & external customers.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Due to Program & Projects requirement, candidate must be a US Citizen.

Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position. Must be able to complete a pre-employment background investigation and drug test.
