Description

Performs sonographic / ultrasound examinations. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient's condition to determine appropriate testing protocol.

Provides a technical interpretation of ultrasound data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis. Is credentialed in a minimum of one specialty or is registry eligible.

Position is per diem, 0.01 FTE, Day shift, 8-hr shifts, and weekly hours are on Fridays only; and may help fill in on other days as needed.

Required Qualifications :

  • Coursework / Training : Completion of an AMA accredited ultrasound program (minimum 1 year in length). Or
  • Associate's Degree in a related health care field AND - Credentials from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
  • National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire. Or
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
