This individual will need to have a deep skill set in multimedia storytelling, UX, video production and podcast production with an inspiring portfolio that backs up your ability to tell great stories that connect with audiences, manage teams, and deliver exceptional results.
You are a natural team leader who has managed direct reports across multiple projects to meet deadlines while delivering high-quality work, you are relentlessly curious about how storytelling translates to impact and iterating based on performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate multimedia requests and develop project from conception to execution, owning the production process and providing creative solutions that ensure deliverables meet the highest standards and deadlines while meeting the core objective(s).
Deeply understand our lines of business to evolve Capital One’s multimedia storytelling to deliver on partner needs and business goals.
Develop and execute for various multimedia asset deliverables (video and audio) for internal and external storytelling opportunities.
Able to work and deliver on tight timelines with consistency and exemplary attention to detail. Work with our analytics team on a test and learn strategy to understand and optimize the impact of Capital One’s storytelling to drive audience growth.
Develop a process playbook focused on leveraging scalability to drive efficiency that effectively manages the pipeline of multiple, concurrent projects to meet deadlines and drive elevated and engaging on-brand results for corporate communications.
Be a champion of Capital One’s brand guidelines, and ensure all external multimedia follows them on all platforms / media, with special attention to digital and UX.
Stay connected to industry trends, competitor, and external partners to ensure we are constantly learning and innovating.
Communicate multimedia work to a cross-functional team with clarity and iterating on feedback quickly. Manage the multimedia storytelling function to deliver a wide variety of assets from videos, podcasts and UX.
Manage, grow and lead a team of multimedia storytellers to unlock scale while establishing best practices and fostering each individuals’ full potential.
Work as an integrated leader within the Content and Creative Strategy team, collaborating closely with video producers, podcast producers, graphic designers and writers to create a consistent and cohesive experience
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 7 years experience in multimedia storytelling, full-cycle video production, or a combination of the two
At least 3 years of team management experience
At least 2 years of experience with senior stakeholder management and vendor management
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience managing multiple projects at once
At least 2 years of professional experience using Adobe Premier Pro
Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and UX
