Job Summary :
The Sponsored Programs Manager manages and directs all college pre-award sponsored program activities, including proposal development, budget development, policy, process and procedure development, collection, reporting, and distribution of funding information to the Senior Associate Dean for Research, Graduate Studies, and Faculty Affairs.
The position also manages and directs all college post-award sponsored programs activities, including contract negotiation and administration, regulatory compliance, and, in coordination with the college business office, assists with the financial management of awards.
The Sponsored Programs Manager provides leadership, direction, and advice on policy and guidelines development and implementation related to the administration of sponsored programs in the college.
The position assists and supports the Associate Dean related to internal college initiatives to enhance and promote sponsored research.
The Sponsored Programs Manager supervises all data collection and management reporting for all college-related sponsored program activities and is the representative for the college at university meetings.
