Facilities Technician (L1)

Brief Description

Responsibilities :

• Effectively Assist in maintain plant equipment, primarily related to manufacturing kitchen appliances and refrigeration equipment.
• Assist in executing the plant preventive maintenance program.
• Use of ladders will be required.
• Strong working knowledge of all facets of manufacturing equipment and procedures.
• Use of power tools and hand tools.
• Able to work on painting and spackling projects.
• Responsible for completing tickets and partnering with L2 and Supervisor for advanced repairs as needed.

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of repair and maintenance experience.
• Exceptional ability to work on directed tasks, complete on time with good quality.
• Basic understanding of electricity and hazards of electricity.
• OSHA safety certification is a PLUS.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• In a workday : standing / walking 8-12 hours.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Hand use : single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
• Work requires the following motions : bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
• Possible work assignments may include building zones below zero temps.
• May be required to work up to 10 hours in 32 38-degree temps.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
