St. Anthony de Padua Church and School seeks part-time custodial and maintenance assistance (appx 25 hours a week). Primary responsibilities include ensuring the buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and welcoming.
This position reports to and is supervised by the facilities director.
Approximate Start Date : August 1, 2025
Appx Hours : Within Monday - Friday
Pay Rate : To be determined based on experience and credentials
Essential Tasks
Help with daily custodial duties including (but not limited to) : sweeping & mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing high-touch surfaces, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, taking out trash and recycling, vacuuming carpets, sweeping stairs, washing windows, cleaning handrails, restocking custodial supplies, ensuring the campus is free of trash and hazards, assisting with lawn and landscape care, keeping pathways clear of snow and ice
Requirements
Preferred -some experience in custodial work
Physical stamina and dexterity - physically able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stoop, climb and reach
Ability and willingness to take direction and contribute to a team
Work independently, efficiently, and with attention to detail
Positive disposition
Dependable and timely attendance
