Production Manager (Precast Concrete)

Responsibilities :

As the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a dedicated team of 20-25 employees, ensuring efficient and effective operations in the following departments :

• Coordinate and manage the production of precast concrete bed lines
• Supervise woodshop operations
• Oversee welding processes, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Manage the maintenance and upkeep of our production facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Implement and execute workflow processes
• Schedule and track daily production goals
• Continual coordination and communication with all departments.
• Obtain and maintain working knowledge of Precast / Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) regulations and ensure procedures are in place and followed.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training new production staff.
• Organizes and oversees employee schedules and work of production staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
• Assists with implementing and conducting safety trainings.

Qualifications :

• Prior precast experience preferred, but not required.
• Proven leadership abilities, with a strong commitment to teamwork and employee development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
