The Business Systems Analyst, Bruin Learn CoE will help define, test, and deliver Bruin Learn CoE to maximize business value.
The Business Analyst, Bruin Learn CoE will conduct customer research and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to gather business requirements and help translate them into functional and technical requirements.
Through the use of various analytical tools and methodologies, they will identify trends and opportunities that can drive innovation and efficiency in UCLA's technological offerings.
In addition, they will contribute to the strategic planning process by providing insights and data-driven recommendations to help shape the university's IT roadmap.
This role will also support the product team's delivery and sustainment of an excellent end-to-end customer experience.
The Business Systems Analyst, Bruin Learn CoE will positively impact UCLA's operations and culture by enabling University stakeholders to effectively leverage Bruin Learn CoE and applications.
This team member will advance the University's mission by delivering exceptional information technology services comprehensively and consistently across faculty, staff, and students.
This role will execute UCLA's vision while modeling UCLA's culture and values.
- Three years experience working in one or more of the following fields : computer science, computer information systems, BSA (Business Systems Analyst), or related field. (Required)
- Five or more years eExperience working in one or more of the following fields : computer science, computer information systems. (Preferred)
- Experience designing and documenting business processes and configuring application functions. Understanding of Lean and Agile methodologies. (Required)
- Proven record of delivering end-to-end, user-centered products by considering stakeholder requirements, user research, market analysis, data, customer feedback, and technical constraints or opportunit (Required)
- Experience conducting or facilitating requirement gathering interviews or sessions. Experience utilizing analytics tools to measure success, present opportunities, and support decision-making. (Required)
- Experience working in higher education or a similarly federated environment. (Preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to identify key issues critical to the organization's need and the success of a desired product, service and enhancement. (Required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and is able to communicate technical information and ideas to a diverse community of colleagues and stakeholders. (Required)
- Able to establish and advance positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members, stakeholders, and customers. (Required)
- Strong organizational skills and is able to balance competing priorities and support concurrent projects. Ability to work in a project-based environment using project management practices. (Required)
