Role Overview : As an Architect at Pro-Cal Design, you will play a pivotal role in designing and managing architectural projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities :
- Design Development : Create and develop architectural designs, including detailed drawings and specifications.
- Project Management : Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Permitting : Prepare and submit permit applications, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Client Communication : Maintain clear communication with clients to understand their objectives and keep them informed of project progress.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and city planners to streamline project execution.
- Construction Documentation : Generate comprehensive construction documents that effectively convey design intent to contractors.
- Site Visits : Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Sustainable Design : Integrate sustainable design principles into projects to meet environmental standards and client expectations.
- Compliance : Ensure all architectural designs meet aesthetic, functional, and safety requirements.
Qualifications :
- Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Active California Architect license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in architecture, preferably with a focus on residential projects.
- Extensive experience with AutoCAD and Procore.
- Proven track record of managing permits and working with city officials on code enforcement cases.
- Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Bonus Points :
- Experience with additional design and project management tools such as Revit or SketchUp.
- Experience with flips, ADUs, and development builds.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing needs and requirements.
Compensation : $120,000-$150,000 + Bonuses
