Overview Engineer - Electrician The Engineer is responsible for performing routine repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently.
It is the responsibility of the HVAC Engineer is to maintain, troubleshoot and repair all HVAC and mechanical equipment on property.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures. Responsibilities Must know how to read schematics and wiring diagrams, troubleshoot and repair all types of commercial equipment, must know basic electricity and plumbing.
HVAC heating and cooling, vent and air conditioning maintenance and repair. Repair air handlers, VAV boxes. Water treatment of cooling towers, boilers, water softeners, closed loop systems.
Maintenance of boiler and chiller operation and associated equipment. Respond to fire alarms. Maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment and ice machines.
Operation and repair of stand-by generators. Maintenance and repair of pumps and pressurized water systems. Must be willing to work holidays and weekends.
Must be able to work on call for emergencies, holidays and weekends. Perform other duties as requested.
