Job Title : Data Scientist (Onsite)

Location : Dearborn, MI.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Developing and maintaining innovative models for consumer behavior.
• Forecasting customer behavior and preferences, customer segmentation and profiling, optimizing incentives and experiences, calculating customer lifetime value, and more.
• Break down and understand sophisticated business problems, define a solution and implement it using advanced quantitative methods.

Required Qualifications :

• 10+ years of experience.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
• Proven oral and written communication skills, especially around analytical concepts and methods.
• Phenomenal work ethic and intellectual curiosity.
• 2+ years of experience in statistical analysis and modeling, developing and delivering projects in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), using SQL to extract, clean, and transform data in large, complex, nested databases, doing research, analysis, data science or solution development.
• Experience in the automotive industry is helpful.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in data science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related field.
• Master's degree or equivalent experience in data science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related field (Preferred).

Salary and Other Compensation :

Applications will be accepted until 10 / 20 / 2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000.00 - $117,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
